In recent years we have seen a dramatic upturn in business in OTC Equity Derivatives as a result of European shift from fixed income to equity investment. We recognize that there are particular markets where we can improve our service, and consequently we welcome approaches from both experienced and trainee brokers who can complement our existing team. (In exceptional cases, we will consider re-training candidates with a proven track record in broking non-equity derivative products.) All candidates must be graduates.
Sunrise is unusual in that it is a niche player which has no ambitions to be a 'one stop shop' in all global financial products. In the future we will only move into markets which are likely to be equally profitable, and in this way we will avoid the necessity of profitable desks subsidising 'lame ducks' desks. By maintaining this high per capita profitability and by distributing profits amongst the Company's principals, we are able to remunerate our people well over the long term. The Company would welcome approaches from brokers in other niches (equity or non-equity) not currently serviced by Sunrise.
